Description:
This lamp is the result of my first experimentations with ceramics. I worked with the transludicity of
porcelain. In the process, I tested different porcelain’s consistency (paste/liquid). Through the process, I observed different distortions due to my shape.
Process:
Mold making.
Testing slip-casting and stamping, cleaning and cutting.
First time in kiln, sanding in order to get different thickness and thus transludity effects.
Second time in kiln, best position to avoid deformations (kiln’s space should be better used next time...). Fixing the electric system with silicon.
