Title: Douce Cocotte

Theme: The hand-delivery act.

Exhibition: Organized by None atelier at Confort mental. Opening on the 27th of June 2019. Event website︎︎︎

Description:

A “Cocotte” in paper, is an origami which serves as a base for games for french kids. With it, we can give wages, play  action/truth or telling the future!
For this exhibition, I wanted to play with the sensuality of hands. During the hand-delevery act, we are breaking up intimacy by touching hands or letting the other have a look on our private sphere. How to push people to go towards others by hands’ touch? Play my game and you’ll have to maybe
brush the hand of 5 strangers, hold the hand for 6 min of the person next to you or just going to talk to a person with closed hands.

Exhibition:

“Remise en main(s) propre(s)” is an exhibition held at Confort Mental in June 2019, on the occasion of the release of 100 lamps edited by None Atelier. Each lamp should have been given personally during the vernissage, if circumstances had not delayed their delivery. 12 artists and designers was part of the event, and bring our attention the hand-delivery act.
